well after over 20 different people asking me "hey, you know about the net right? what is his evony thing?" I officially gave up and decided to try it so that I dont have to say "I dont know" any longer.

now as to what is actually is, take Sim City, cross it with Civilizations, and you have a pretty good idea of the basic game.

build a city with a population, resources, and a military. Join an alliance, or not. and try to kill people.

and it is all server based real time play.

for boring people like me who enjoyed the original Sim city is a entertaining time killer and can be a bit of fun. personally I think any of us DC players can find a bit of fun in it.

also it is actually free to play. But there is the usual " if you give us money, we will give you a special currency that allows you to buy stuff to get ahead faster" to be honest though, they give you a small amount of this currency daily, and while the items are neat, the are attainable in game, or you can use your dailies to get them. so while you have the option to pay, its not impossible to play without doing so.

and of course, you know, I do have to get some referrals out of this, so of course this is a blatant add to let me refer you to the game.
