Greetings fellow clansmen,

 As you can clearly see, the main site has had yet another overhaul. Like I mentioned on the forum a while back, I didnt really enjoy Mambo and the way it worked. I looked around a bit, stumbled over Joomla and noticed the horribly extensive category of add-ons. They call them Extentions and most of them are really easy to implement. So thats what I'll be doing.

 For your amusement, I've already added an Arcade section. This feature, as well as most others I have in mind, will be available only for registered users. Thus far the plans include adding more games to the Arcade, inserting a Blogging feature for everyone to use, a photo album and a shoutbox. I am also working on something called AjaxRPG but its much too early to tell if this will go anywhere.

As said, Joomla is incredibly vast. It has a multitude of options and extentions and I intend to use those portions that support us as a community. I want this place to become more of a 'fun place to visit' instead of just a forumboard. That means we will be implementing some social networking sections as well as ingame extentions like game specific plugins (like for WoW etc).

 What we need now is people who are willing to invest some time to read up on what Joomla can do, and use that knowledge to create some quality content. It would be a great help if you could find a way to get some game related news in here. Or maybe fill the site with some news of your own. Or maybe even write a nice blog that we can feature. Stuff like that is all helpful.
